      Design and application of integrated operation device for clogging crushing and cleaning in front of dam gate

      • The blockage of rocks, tree trunks and other objects in front of the reservoir dam gate will lead to the failure of the gate from opening and closing normally, which will affect the safe operation of the project. Aiming at the practical needs and technical difficulties of clogging cleaning in front of the gate, an integrated operation device for clogging crushing and cleaning was designed based on numerical simulation and structural calculation. The device was composed of crushing hammer, claw, opening/closing cylinder, lifting cylinder, lifting body, etc. It had both crushing and grasping functions and could be used to effectively remove the clogging. The performance test and application were carried out in the laboratory and Lushui Reservoir. The results showed that the designed clogging crushing and cleaning integrated operation device completed the crushing and grabbing of clogging in a short time, and met the application requirements of crushing and cleaning.
